R.I.P Whitney

Sadly today the entertainment world lost another legend far to soon as Whitney Houston was found dead in her Beverly Hills Hotel room at age 48. She leaves behind her a young daughter Bobbi who she had with her ex husband hip hop singer Bobby Brown.

She rained as a Queen of pop for several decades, able to stand the test of time and reinvent herself for new fans. Whitney will gown in history as one of the greatest voices of all time and will be very sadly missed.

Charlotte Benson

So I had a little visit from model Charlotte Benson at work the other day. Originally from King's Lynn, at aged 16 she was scouted in London and is now signed to agencies Elite, Tess & Marilyn NY. Now a few years later at the age of 19 Charlotte has worked for Italian Vogue and walked shows for Betsey Johnson, Christopher Kane & Jonathan Saunders.

This shoot was for a project of Katie's which used strong references from the work of Teresa Queiros (previously published blog - check it out) and some images from the recent edition of Rankin's Hunger Magazine. Featuring shots of movement and styling and photography of blue hues.
The day was so cold I can not tell you how proud I was of our model Jemma who started to turn slightly blue herself by the end of the shoot whilst I was layered head to toe keeping toasty in my big fur and heavy duty military boots.
